My journey as a healer began...
Stacy Darby LMT,
with a deep love and an intuitive hunch telling me that if ever disease is to be healed at the root cause of its manifestation then the interconnection of the holistic self need be addressed. The innately inspired inquiry into the nature of healing continues to move my path toward the cultivation and sharing of the therapeutic use of self and serves as fuel to perpetuate a path lived in service to the collectively shared mission of providing healing for the heart of humanity.
My initiation as a healer started off with the study of massage therapy just after high school. I graduated from the Ashmead College Massage Therapy course in 2001 with a dream of assisting in healing the core cause of dis-ease. That dream brought me to explore the body first with therapeutic touch as a foundation to build upon. Over the years I have delighted in the study of holistic healing primarily through the medium of therapeutic touch.
Along my journey I have received training that has aided in the growth and cultivation of presence and awareness of the subtle energetics of being and the process of healing. Such have included Reiki, the study of subtle energetic healing, shamanic & ceremonial works of Earth based medicine and Biodynamic Massage and Craniosacral Therapy. The innate knowing understands that true healing comes by giving compassionate attention to the health of mind, body and spirit. These modalities that I have gathered to share, along with the presence that I bring to each session, do just that, touch on all aspects of Self.
Since 2013 I have been engaged in the study & practice of Biodynamic Massage and Craniosacral Therapy. Following three years of training, in August of 2016, I completed a six month in-depth mentorship training program in the art of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Todd Jackson, developer of Biodynamic Massage. Following completion of the mentorship I began assisting in the Biodynamic massage and craniosacral courses offered in Portland, Oregon.
My healing touch practice is now centered within the framework of the Biodynamic Quietude Based Practice and approach to caring for health.
The Biodynamic work (and Reiki) specializes in supporting people of all ages who wish to utilize therapeutic touch for general wellness and stress reduction, for greater self-awareness and for tension or pain relief.
Utilizing Reiki and the Biodynamic Therapies has proven to greatly assist people during states of transition, such as changes with jobs, relationships, living situation and even death. These therapies have also proven to be highly effective in resolving core issues/patterns when applied with on-going care.
Offering touch therapy to people in the care of Hospice has also been a great gift to my life. I feel deeply honored to have had the opportunity to provide individuals present, loving touch during their final days of embodiment in this life, acting as a support through the greatest transition one will make following birth.
I am grateful for each opportunity received to be present with others while offering this work and honored to share in the gifts that this work provides
