Biodynamic Touch
Level 2- SENSATION & PERCEPTION
Enlivening the Realms of Biodynamic Touch
The practice of Biodynamic Touch is akin to the practice of Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, acting as another branch on a very old tree of hands-on healing. The methodology applied stems from a decade long study of Quietude Based Practice of Biodynamic Craniosacral (with Todd Jackson) combined with years of investigation into the varied pathways of personal healing, self growth and supportive application for the health and well-being of another byway of therapeutic touch.
The Biodynamic Touch Sensation and Perception course supports the enlivening of the practitioners relationship with the aspect of the therapeutic process that involves ones awareness of sensation and perception.
Sensation and Perception
In this course we will revisit the groundwork laid in the previous course and begin building upon that foundation. Further explorations into the value of tending to the interface within oneself and in relationship with another are continued. New considerations will highlight how ones perception of sensations are influenced by tending to the relational landscape. Opportunity will be provided to investigate and strengthens ones ability to sense and perceive what is presenting during the therapeutic process.
The tending of the neutral witness acts as the active resource that aides the transformation and transfiguration that transpires during the healing process.
This course is intended to support the strengthening of the neutral observer who’s role is to witness what is presented moment to moment and in so doing provide opportunity for life affirming change. During the treatment process the practitioners attentive observation holds awareness of self and other. The Foundations course provided the groundwork for the cultivation of internal awareness, our interoceptive abilities, activated to tend to our inner landscape. In this course we begin to straddle our attentive awareness between self and other a bit more to receive more information with our sense-ability during the treatment process.
Biodynamic Touch is beneficial for healthcare practitioners such as craniosacral practitioners, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, nurses, ND's, MD's, physical therapists, yoga teachers, acupuncturists, psychologists, social workers, psilocybin facilitators etc. to apply in their area of expertise.
This course is being offered by Stacy Darby.
The content of this course is influenced by the foundational principles that are at the core of osteopathic medicine & Craniosacral Therapy, Usui Reiki and includes experiential tools shared with Stacy by various teachers that have influenced her study in Self and Energy Awareness.
